Antique Victorian Brass Shaving Mirror

This large antique brass mirror measures 14 and one quarter inches wide and is 22 and one half inches high. This antique solid brass Victorian mirror is all original with some minor foxing near its top bevel. This is one of the best Victorian gentlemans mirrors we have ever had. Wonderful casting detail.The bracket on its back moves to hold the mirror in any position and can even be used to hand it from a wall.

Antique Chippendale mirror c1850

Antique Chippendale mirror c1850. This "Chippendale mirror" was made in the second period. It is as fine an example as any 18th century American Chippendale mirror. All hand made from period woods and old wavy blown glass. We had to examine it very closely to decide it was not first period. Old warm original patina. This mirror measures 47 and one half inches high,23 inches across at its widest point and 17 inches in the center.

Antique Eglomise Mirror with Original Boston Label

Antique Eglomise Mirror with Original Boston Label. This antique eglomise mirror measures 29 and one half inches high and is 23 and three quarter inches wide overall. This mirror measures 10 and one eighths inches wide and 16 and one half inches tall. The painted glass at top measures 10 and one eighths inches wide by 8 and one half inches high. Circa 1830 to 1840. The original label reads "Blake and Kittredge" Boston City Market Building Brattle Street. The painting is in pristine original condition on early hand blown wavy glass which so hard to find.

Italain mirrors.Antique Venetian mirror,this wonderful "Venetian Mirror" has a handpainted oil on canvas insert depicting a local genre scene. Excellent condition with gold leaf trim. Measures 35 and one half inches wide by 61 and one half inches high. The painting measures 21 and one quarter inches by 15 and one quarter inches and the mirror measures 27 inches by 31 and one half inches. C1900. Just in from a wonderful Madison CT estate.

Period Continental Ho Ho bird mirror

Period Continental Ho Ho bird mirror. This mirror retains its original gold leaf. The condition is very good. There were some old repairs to the back of the bird and there is a flake in the original plate glass mirror (lower left) which we show in one of the pictures provided. This period mirror dates from the 18th century and measures 47 inches high and 24 inches wide. The Ho Ho bird measures 12 inches for a total of 59 inches high. c1790
